Mr. Prince
My name is William Chrobak -Prince aka Mr. Prince. I was born on September 8th in 1961. I grew up near Diego and attended Chase Elementary and Lane Tech. After spending 6 years in the United States Navy I enrolled in College at UIC and recieved a degree in elementary education. While attending college I met and married Teresa Chrobak. Thats where the hyphenated name comes from! Teresa is also a teacher. We have 3 beautiful children Ben, Julian and Annika. We love to travel and even enjoy a little hiking and camping. Utah is a breathtaking place!
I currently hold a Masters Degree from UIC and teach Math and Algebra in the 8th grade. I have been at Diego for almost 18 years now. Although I enjoy teaching math, I really love the kids. It is an honor that parents let me help shape and mold their children. I only hope that I do your children justice.

Hello!
My name is John Navarro. I have been teaching at Jose de Diego Community Academy for 19 years. I teach fifth grade mathematics. This year I was elected to the LSC as a teacher representative along with my colleague Noelia Romero.

Mrs. Field
My name is Angie Field and I have been teaching at Diego for four years! I have been a full time teacher for CPS since 2004. I have taught a variety of grade levels, but feel extremely blessed to be back in the 8th grade. Diego is full of wonderful, talented students and I am thrilled to be here working with them.
I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University and a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Eastern Michigan University. I am working towards a third endorsement and enjoy being on the other side of the classroom.
I am very happily married with two beautiful children. Both of my children attend Jose de Diego in the afternoon Pre-K classrooms. My daughter, Olivia, is 4 years old and my son Peter (PJ) is 3 years old. My husband and I are originally from Ann Arbor, Mi, home of THE BIG HOUSE!!! We have lived in Chicago for just over ten years.
I believe that all students can learn and be successful when given the opportunity. I am committed to giving each and every student my very best. I am looking forward to having an exciting year with the class of 2012! GO EAGLES☺
