Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! We are looking forward to a great new year!
We will be moving from the Illinois State Standards to the Common Core Standards which will raise the bar for all students in the nation. We will be setting goals for the future and working towards achieving those goals. As the world around us changes, we must be sure that all of our students are college and/or career ready.
We have a new parking lot fence and are looking forward to working with the alderman and community in revamping our outside play area. As we move toward a longer school day in 2012-2013, we want to prepare our building and grounds to be the safe haven that our students deserve.
We invite all parents to join us as volunteers in the school and we welcome all at our monthly parent meetings (NCLB, LSC) to keep abreast of school happenings!
